Why won't BMW make this bike? I'd pay whatever they asked if they'd just go out on a limb and make it just like this.

Well, you could start with a R1100S and then start spending some REAL money :eek

I'm not so much a closet Beemer fan as a fan of shaft drive sportbikes, of which there are exactly one. The problem is that the bike is lardy and slow. Shave the weight and deck it out with carbon fibre whatnots and you've got a winner. Not sure about whether they can do anything with that flat twin lump though. If they could slice about 60kg from the weight, and somehow get 130hp from that motor, I'd be first in line.

yup, that's the one.

what's so special about a bike having one-sided swingarm?
i just noticed that our on our bikes, the swingarm covers both sides
