I got a nail, a huge one stuck in my rear tire, just off the center line, on the 3rd day, got a flat, got it fixed by a rubber patch, not leather, had no problems at all bike was sitting at 15k on original tires when it burnt down in my garage and believe me when I say I definitely went more than 160 most of the time.....15,000 on a plugged tire, reaching my fastest speed so far of 280 kms/hr and also maintaining my highest average of 190-220 in most sections of the cascades and lillouet loop.....


just remember to check the tire pressure everday or two and to rotate it with your palm feeling the back wall for anything abnormal.....

Yep, you'll get up there one day.

On a trip last summer a buddy and I were playing tag on a back road between the Cache Creek and Kamloops. At one point I was rolling into some open sweepers leaned over about 20 to 25 degrees and doin' 180 and still accelerating. The bike felt stable as a freightrain. ( and I don't want to hear any Kawasaki HEAVY Industry references here.... :flip ) And much of this stretch was done in tighter curves at about 140 to 160. It was just one of those roads with all the right stuff. Good visibility, no traffic, no dropoffs, good pavement and no blind corners. Just the kind of place to play for a while.....

Same on the cascade run....before the first break that we had 1/2 throu the cascades I don't think I was properly "broken in" then everything just became smooth and natural, next thing I know I am chasing Lloyd at 190-220 thru the turns, Kawi was stable no twitching or anything......well in the end I was chasing a ghost...:rolleyes


well just got home from luv-affair man there are some funky women & men out there....well rode home....managed to do 240 and hang on for a while once I crossed the portman, didn't wat to go too fast, rain and all...that yosh pipe is loud man....
