Oh my God! It just gives me wood whenever I see a new bike uncrated. It's like a stripper only without the loud music and watered down beer.

I want one of those shipping frames. i don't know what for, I just want one. I guess there's a deposit on them from the factory huh.

Its just like watching the birth of a child (minus the blood and "stuff").

How did they get the bike up straight ? It's not using kick stand, not leaning on the side nothing supporting the bike except the wheel holder and something underneath the bottom of the bike where the oil drain is, or am I missing something ?

Looks like there's a styrofoam brace across the top of the tail section in one of the pics, so I'm guessing that there were a few of those before the uncrating began. I can't see them relying on the front wheel supports for shipping all the way from Japan. What makes me nervous about shipping these bikes isn't the trip across the Pacific, but the trip from the docks to the warehouse behind some lunatic container driver, and even worse is the trip on the back of a 5-ton flatdeck to the dealer. I've seen these psychos drive and I doubt whether they slow down for corners or speed bumps. I wish they'd let us pick up our own bikes from the distributor and stick around for the PDI.

Woah, how can I missed that !? Need to have my eye check...

but still, it amazed me how it can be hold still with that one big styrofoam.

I'm only guessing, but I'll bet that one was the last one left when unpacking. Probaby trussed up tighter than a Japanese schoolgirl when it left Nippon.:eek

Is that yours!!!!!! I thought bikes came only partially assembled in the crates, without screen, tank, and other minor things?
Or maybe that was just my 250. I too love the crate! Where can i get one? I'd keep my bike in my bedroom in one of those things during the winter so it looks like a museum display or something!!!

I wonder what thy ship back in the crates ? i mean it would be really inefficient to send the crates back empty, I wonder how that works.....

Ok guys Crazy to the rescue AGAIN :batman I work across from HoleshoT and I've seen more crated bikes and such that it's really gets to be like strippers, boreing. Anyway they rip the crate off the bike, brake the crate down and turf it in the garbage. End of line. :eek

Maybe I can use it to store the bike for winter. When Spring time, uncrate it and got a new bike feeling all over again

if anyone's in the area and wants to pick me up a crate I'd be most appreciative....
