Hi everyone,

Just wanted some advice from anybody who uses there streetbike on trackdays.

I can't afford a separate racebike so I'm thinking of buying some race bodywork for those one-off track days.
Anyone do this? How (in)convenient does it become?

Aside from the extra maintenance and $$$ if you crash, is this recommended? I love bikes and want to get the most fun possible out of them.
Cheers

why not... y ou'll finally get to see what your bike was meant to do... all you need is a little safety wire and yer on yer way...

I've done it and I highly recommend it...

make sure you try taking an accredited track course if you can... ie: CLASS or CaliforniaSuperbike School... also PIR puts one on in conjunction with Suzuki.. you will appreciate the classroom instruction and come away with some extra knowledge...

I'd say if you can and will afford the potential damage, then yer covered.. go to town. Its when you can't afford it and may wind up bikeless that things can suck.

Haven't gone for a cruise in a week!!!
Problem is not the cash, it's the parts getting here.
