WCSS Island Edition II 2006​


Hello fellow riders. The West Coast Superbike School has agreed to come back to Vancouver Island this year for a race/rider school. Details are as follows:
Session #1

Saturday, April 1st - Classroom: Location TBD
Sunday, April 2nd - Saratoga Speedway
Thurs, April 13th - Mission Raceway

Courses

Racer Training for the Track - Offered through our partnership with the Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club. This is the simplest and most fun way to prepare for racing. This course covers all aspects of racing including skills, rules, flags, safety, bike preparation and more.

Course Overview:
Pit & Track etiquette Flags & Safety
Race & Track day procedures Riding & Racing techniques
Track learning procedures & race lines Bike set up

Includes:

Instruction by professional licensed road racers
classroom instruction
bike preparation session
Full-day of riding instruction at Saratoga Speedway
Full-day of track instruction at Mission Raceway
Video analysis of your riding, featuring helmet cam
Hands on instruction with small student groups
T-shirt


Cost: $465.00

Advanced Rider Training - Designed for current riders who do not wish to ride on the race track to expand and develop their skills. This course teaches riders advanced techniques with emphasis on cornering, braking and body position. All course riding takes place on a safe, closed circuit. Minimal bike preparation is required.

Advanced cornering techniques Body & peg positioning
Advanced braking techniques Corner acceleration techniques
Bike set up

Includes:

Instruction by professional road racers
classroom instruction
Full-day of riding instruction at Saratoga Speedway
Video analysis of your riding, featuring helmet cam
Hands on instruction with small student groups
Student card valid for industry discounts
Minimal bike preparation
