I have a '97 GSX-R600 race bike for sale, it is very well sorted, I ran a high 1:29 @ Race City in Calgary in my second race. Ask anyone that races their, that is a decent time for your second race. My point being that it was mostly the bike being so well sorted that allowed me to push my self that quickly. I have tons and tons of spares for the bike, if you are interested I can make out a list. Willing to deliver or meet halfway (depending on location) and I am asking $8500 OBO. The reason I am selling is that I want to get a street bike again and can't afford to race.

Hey man,
Though you're bike may be super sorted out. I would try to get it back as stock as possible and not sell it as a race bike. Racers are cheap. No two ways about it. You can find race bikes fairly easy for $3000-4500. Though they may need some work and not have spares, racers tend to put in there own elbow greese and find spares at race/track days.

And i'm talking gsxr 600, 750's, 7r's etc.

My bro actually bought a 97 GSX-R750 with less than 3k kms and race bodywork for $4000 or less (dont remember).

Yeah, fair enough.
I looked into that option as well (no spares I mean) when I went to buy a race bike but liked the idea of having everything available when and if I crashed.
I am thinking I will make it street legal - if for no other reason than to ride it myself right now. I just don't have the time to wire in the lights with other projects, work etc.
Once I get it streetable it will definitely be a more attractive buy for sure. Then I could sell the extra parts as well.... hey now you're talkin'

Better to just let me know what you need and I will make sure I have it before I tell I have it.
I have stuff like stock foot pegs (passenger and driver), fork tubes no internals except for fork springs - 3 different types, extra rims with race rain tires mounted, extra 520 sprockets, etc., etc.
Let me know what need.
