Hey guys. I just wanted to get some feedback. I just sold my ZZR250 and want to move up to a bigger bike. I didnt test ride many other bikes, but I rode a 2002 CBR600 F4I and liked it... I want a bike that looks sporty, but that I can ride for more than 5 hours before i get sore:p what do you think?

It doesn't fade too bad. The yellow decals will over time but the tank, fender, tail and front fairing keep their colour pretty good. Like with anything waxing over the years will help retain the colour,.
but is it just me, or does that one look alittle faded, or is it just the lighting?
I think it's just the lighting in the picture. Looks like it was a cloudy day so the colours looked a little washed out.
my bikes yellow. 100% stock except new seat covers.

elevation: how many kms were on there when you got it, and was it mint and stock?
There were 17,600 kms on it. It had a muzzy pipe (I need ear plugs!), Bigger sprocket (more for racing than stunting), Racing Chain, Braided Brake Lines (Love em!), All silver no decals.

It was almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a f4i that had some custom things done to it. I had no intention of buying a bike but when I came across it I had to buy it. I am glad I did.

The only downside with the bigger sprocket is my speedo, odo, and trip is out of what. My speedo reads 20km/h to 40km/h more than I should be. Also every 100K I ride is actually only 77k.
I have an 06 F4i, and I love it. I commute on it, and play on the weekends - it's capable of pretty much anything. I've been 1000+Km's on weekends 2 up and it's been fine for both of us. Sounds awesome with a Jardine RT-One exhaust as well (225 bucks for the F4i).

edit: I've got a Puig screen on mine, and it's soooooo much better than stock. Don't forget rear hugger as well - they only have a little plastic sqaure to protect the shock from crap. Here's my 06 with the one-piece seat ..
i've beaten the living shxt out of mine and it keeps running like new. i will never buy anything but a honda

also, when i went up 5 teeth the bike had a higher top speed than any 600 i have raced against, including sprocketed 2005 r1, zx6, and 600rr. not sure how that works and if i didn't experience it i wouldn't have believed it but it's true.

the only bad thing about the bike is that the headlights look totally gay from head on
is it possible to do a headlight conversion incantation? might be somthing you should look into if you really dont like it
All silver no decals.
damn sounds exactly like mine, she was cherry till I fucked her up a few weeks back....can't find a damn pic small enough to post up on the forum(except the avatar) but it was all silver no decals at all, i really liked the no decal look.
yea i've talked to a couple guys on it.. what i decided on finally is putting some sort of colour matched eyebrows (or just glassing in) the top halves of the lights so they look like something between 600rr or r6 lights.

the other option is to get a race fairing and put in whatever you want. i kind of prefer the first idea.

another nice thing about the hindle slip-on is that if you are doing a wheelie at 100km/h and it falls off due to poor installation and a car behind you hits it, it will survive. and if it happens again a few minutes later and the same car hits it again it will still not be too bad. just ask thor lol

It is a great fucking bike!:rockon (i had one, and loved it!)
it's pretty clear to my friends, that i an certainly no fan of honda...
but i think f4i is a great bike... (just try to avoid ugly paint schemes)
if i could ever justify myself being on a honda, i'd get an F4i

skydivesonic,
does that say hakka as in the minty fresh flavouring?
or some other kind of word like going boom?
I work in IT, so i'll let you guess :rockon
F4i

Hey, Kuldip, I thought that was my bike for a second - until I saw the black passenger pad. The yellow rocks - I just wish I handn't scratched mine up in a 0kph tip-over.

did I see someone post that they rode the F4i two-up? That's crazy! I told my wife it's a one-seater!

Marclapierre, that sounds like a great price, I paid $7600 for mine over a year ago, mind you it only had 3000 km. At least the front tire did - the rear had more like 8000 from doing burnouts.
Hello Boys and Girls, I have an 2002 F4i silver/red and absolutely love it, it's my first bike and it has definately stood up to its name with regards to being a forgiving bike, but sporty and fast at the same time. With some small aftermarket's on it you couldn't ask for anything else in my opinion. In a years time tho I think that I'll be upgrading...

this is moi 2ND bike, but i think it will suffice... picking it up this week:D(hard to insure it though, $700 insurance plus $420 tax on the bike:S)
You wont be disapointed. It will last you a while. I did a sprocket change before summer and it's like falling in love all over again. The lines aren't as sharp as the newer bikes but she still looks sexy.
3 months insurance on my f4i= $750! Outrageous!
^ What discount, better yet surcharge level is that? On my gixxer, I pay $150 a month, full coverage.
lucky. i have only 10% discount, and for basic coverage, its only $100/month, for full coverage, $250/month
