Got the Dirt Squirt found it in the bog when I was 14 and my brother and I rebuilt it took 2 years and some money but he still has it, it just hasn't run in along time one day I'll try to start it again........

And I thank you for that tender mercy...

I bought a basket case Road Toad off Bill a year or two back. Now that I'm not racing as much I'm hoping to get some time to restore it.

Once it's done up I may try to trade it for a clean chromed Ace. Or perhaps by that time the frog color will have grown on me. The pic sure isn't mine. I'm torn between restoring it fully to it's street dual sport role or semi restore it to be a dirt only bike. But it'll be frog green and have the decals for sure!

Combat wombat was one of the first bikes I ever rode. The guy who owned it was the local burnout who literally lived on the wrong side of the tracks. Guy lost the tip of his finger to the chain by the front sprocket.

They really have a cult following. When I was in mini-bike mode years and years ago, the next want and desire was anything from Hodaka....if you can believe it.

Funny you would ask that. I ran into said burnout when I was working at the Vancouver Jail a couple of years ago. When I book/printed him I also took a photo of the gibbled finger as a secondary identifier. "Got any scars, marks, tatties?" Hey, I remember that!
