Hey all,
So it's almost 8 months since the day my life changed forever, when my soul mate, my husband and the father to my baby boy died on a ride up to squamish on feb 11, 2006.
Now that the riding season is coming to an end for most ( even though riders like Rick ride year round ) I am torn between being slightly relieved to see less motorcycles on the road and missing seeing you all out there.
Have to tell you, it has taken all will power to not just buy a new bike and ride but feel as a surviving parent I need to be conservative in the risks I take...
Never regret for a second that Rick rode and so happy that he was on a ride and grinning ear to ear on the day he died.
Love you Rick. Hope you are somewhere perfect and where the roads are clear and the sun shines all the time.
Love always. Rachel and Coen
