Hey all you mechanics out there.

I'm trying to do one of the suggestions to fix something on my bike..

What is the detention (detent) spring part of? Where can I find it?

Would that be the shifter detent spring? If so, then it's located at the base of the detent arm. You'd have to remove the cover and a few bits to see it. Here's a pic...
