Where do you ride?
NO B.S. just share the location and keep your opinions to yourself LOL :devillook

19347 24 Ave Langley (ish area)
14943 54a Ave Surrey (ish area)
Google maps shows trails there.
ANYWHERE ELSE for a couple hours of fun
Thanks all that help.

None of those places are really worth riding in comparison to going to Chipmunk Creek in Chilliwack, Nicklemine in Hope or even Blue Mountain. You could ride in Richmond near the Silvercity Theatre but I don't know how legal it is to ride there.

Anyone have any info for dirt riding in the Western areas of town like Richmond, Vancouver, Sea to Sky? I've found some amazing stuff in Brittannia Beach and Squamish, but anything closer to Van would be appreciated

Only real place is Triangle Beach which is behind the movies theater in Richmond on 6 road, anything else you gotta commute out to Chilliwack, Maple Ridge, Mission pretty much.

How technical are you looking to get in your ride? What is your off road skill level?

I need a new chain before I go back off road with my KLR, had a nice "wipe out" if you will and stretched my chain out nicely, still good for road riding but I wouldn't take it off road anymore till I replace it.

East side of Stave Lake (Up Sylvester Road till it becomes Lost Creek Forest Service Road) is where I've been going lately, just off Lougheed Highway.

Forgot to add, I see your bike is a 400 SM, if you are still riding on the SM tires it will make your off roading that more "interesting" hehe.

Is Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam worth checking out for a short after-work ride? I work in New West.

Just moved to White Rock from Kelowna... didn't realize just how good we had it both for dirt and street.
Rocks rocks and lots more rocks, if you want to get out and have some fun where it is way more wide open and expansive go to Mission or Chilliwack.

Once I get a new chain on my bike I can show ya the sights if you are up for it.

I don't mind rocks so much. A lot of the riding in Kelowna is sand, gravel, and rocks. Just looking for a place to hit up on my dirt bike during the week, and Eagle is very close.

Will definitely take you up on your offer of a tour though. Either dirt or some of the goodlocal back roads. Let me know when your bike is ready for action.

I rode Vedder yesterday for the first time and had a blast!

Currently recruiting riding buddies....

I enjoy the freedom/efficiency of a good solo ride but things get sketchy real quick. Like yesterday when I thought I sucked in water after stalling in a particularly nasty hole, would have been an interesting 5km push back to my truck. Turned out all was good and I just flooded the engine after dropping the bike 5 times trying to get unstuck.

Anybody mind a new guy joining their group? I'm fairly new to riding dirt bikes, but not new to riding on two wheels having ridden xc and dh mountain bikes for 18 yrs. I can comfortably ride blue trails, and could ride most of the blacks at Bear Creek in Kelowna. I ride most weekends and possibly locally during weekdays. Looking for a mellow group of riders since I can't afford any hospital visits at this stage in my life... wife and son need to eat!

I took out a friend who was pretty timid on his dirt bike having only ridden logging roads. He found most of the single track in Hope at the Nicklemine to be not too bad. We just stuck to the greens and blues but still had a good time. There were lots of people to ride with there on Sunday.
