I am racing, I have my 03 gsxr600, and looking for a new race bike, wtb: 2006 R6 race ready, 2006 gsxr600 race ready, 2005 or newer' zx-6r, can't wait to get out there, I missed some of the later races 06 I have been watching some you tube mission vid's my hair raises just watching them

I came from the same car racing roots as well. But for me there was very likely a far longer hiatus between 4 on the track and two..... I raced at Westwood, Seattle, Portland and the old Victoria track for 3 years back in the mid 70's. Then took up motorcycles at Mission in 2001.

Anyhow it's great to see all you newbies getting so pumped about this. You're truly in for a landmark time of your lives.

I'v talked to a couple friends from this site.It sounds like there is going to be a lot of new racers next year.I hope that theres going to be room on the track. I wont notice because I'll be in front of everyone. Might be problem when I start laping people though. Oh .......then i woke up ..hahahaha.

Nothing worse then me running through the pits excited about NOT finishing dead last! I need more SVs to dice it up with! Ok, we have lots of SVs, I need to keep up with them!

Nancy (Squire) has a new racer meeting coming up in the new year. YOu should all attend, I'm sure there will be some good advice.

Also, all of the guys are real approachable at the track. Lots of people to help you with setup, lend a tool, whatever.
