I recently went to visit a co-worker of mine at Royal Columbian Hospital.
Her name is Tanya Hodzik and she use to ride a cruiser until she was hit
by a car on Canada Way and lost part of her leg as a result of the accident.
The accident happened on Aug.31st. She's in very good spirits. I'm sure
if you stop by on a passing well wishing she would much appreciate that.
On 4th floor in South Tower of Sherbrooke building of RCH. Room 411.
Wishing you a good recovery... :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

I would also like to thank the two guys, the fellow on cruiser and woman
in hospital dregs for stopping to help on 6th St in New West on my way
to hospital. Took a nasty slow speed spill on wet pavement from cube
van stopping in intersection. A few bruised ribs and ego but you have
my many thanks. Especially in the rain.

Is there a way she can get online at the hospital. Maybe a laptop with wireless. It would be great if she could get on BCSB. I have tons of lame jokes I could tell her and I'm sure there are tons of good people on here that could turn her frown upside down on a daily basis.

My friend assisted Tanya at her accident. Sorry to hear that Tanya lost her foot...my friend suspected that might happen, but we were hoping for the best.

It's unfortunate that it was a random accident that could not of been prevented.
The cruiser she was riding doesn't offer any protection against a direct hit.
Always need to have your heads up.

Hey Ray:

Good of you to be thinking of your friend despite your own misfortune. I tip my hat to you, and wish you and her speedy and full recoveries.
