it's odd seeing a bike of yours on a road trip all stock and no farkles.

There are farkles, they're just subtle . I think he finally found his perfect bike, it fits his philosophy nicely. I've seen him ride it; all smiles and a flawless fit IMHO. Yeah, Frank (CDG) passed away on November 6th, 2019. That's another reason this thread is hard. He wrote it the day before he left us.

And we're so lucky that he did. I love all the wrongwaydown, exploregon, moregon, etc... posts from all the years, reading back is a good refresh for all the fun and memories we created. What I would do for another day of twisties followed by wobbly pops and a 'stoke' debrief. Miss you lots, Frank!
