I'm finally ready to buy my first bike! Woohooo! My budget is $7000. I'm looking for a honda, yamaha or a suzuki 600 in that price range. If anyone has any hook ups please email me at [email protected]

Brand new left over '01 SV650's are listed at $7200 here in Calgary...and that is brand new. There is tax on that, but I also know you will be able to get them down to $6800.

It just seems a tad pricey for a used '01. You could probably do much better on a private sale.

Hmm...

I've seen a few nice 96+ ZX7R's from $4500-7000. I'm a really big fan of these bikes... they are a tad on the heavy side however, the weight is down low so it's easy to maneuver.

They're quick and look deadly. Can't really ask more for the money. Plus they are still used in AMA/World SBK!
