I just got a used Yoshimura RS-3 race stainless. Can't wait to put it on. Anyone had one of these?

I'm in the market for an exhaust, I'd love to hear what sounds like on yours compared to my stocker. I heard they're fairly raspy without a lot of low end grunt.

Make sure you get it tuned properly.. you'll run much smoother and get more power out of it (the little you do out of a slipon anyhow).

Yeah, my stock is a little too quiet. My bro has the RS-3 carbon and it's got a nice low rumble to it at idle. As for tuning, you mean like jet kit? I've read that most slip-ons just slip on and don't require any other mods.

Just a mild adjustment of the pilot screws and some tweaks here and there and you will be running optimally. I am gonna get my bike tuned on a dyno when I get it insured just to make sure it is getting the perfect air/fuel ratio.

I don't know too much about the different pipes, but the Yosh looks the biz! I saw an RC51 with dual Yoshi polished aluminum, and Mmmm, tasty:cool

I've got a Yosh Carbon slip-on myself. I love it, but to be honest...I got it because it looks trick. Your not gonna gain alot form a slip-on, so I went for looks and sound.

My cuz has an RC51 with dual Jardine Ti. What a sweet setup. But then, he's got the money to do it...

Hes in the Kootneys.....if ya remember, he's the one that keeps on asking me to visit his roads. Just haven't had the time though..this year may be a different story if we go on a weekend venture .

Atom, if he's out by Nelson or Slocan Valley.. he's right, the roads are sweet. Lots of great scenery and lots o turns.

I'm just flipping through my new MotorCyclist with the 954RR on the cover and they've got some contest with Buell and Deals Gap (the one Claybusa's videos are from on SBN).. 11 miles 316 turns... drool.

just to let you know, as you can see i have the yosh rs3 chrome pipe with race baffle on my zx6r and it sounds incredible especialy at high revs, it sounds like a monster, i love it and will use these pipes forever
