Hey guys, So i'm doing an engine swap on my 90 fzr 600 because i slid it out on Grace Rd. in Surrey, unintentionaly hit a jump in the road (if youve been there you would know what im talking about)

anyways the engine took a hard hit and was not running and besides the fairings everything else is fine.

so today i got the old engine out and im thinking about changing it into a naked bike so i wanted to paint the other engine i bought a nice flat black before installing it.

what kind of paint should i use for this? does it have to be heat resistant or would a can of spraypaint do the job?

Thx

The best "stick to anything" paint I have found
is the John Deere (yep - the tractor guys) muffler
paint.

It is a bit "flatish" black, about $20 a spray can,
and available at the JD dealer in Abby (just north
of the border).

Tried a bunch of the header, VHT, etc paints and
nothing comes close to the JD muffler paint.

rattle can stuff follow banditos opinion i have used and its good stuff on all my stunt bikes : engines frames and swingarms the stuff gets really hard with heat and is a beooootch to scratch off if you dislike the color
