Alright, here's the deal.
Bike: 2005 CBR600RR with about 32,xxx km.
The problem originated some time last season, can't recall when. But it started happening in higher gears. When my rpm hits around 10,000 rpm the engine completely loses power and won't go pass 10,000 rpm. The bike keeps running at that rotation but won't advance. The problem then started moving to all the gears consistently at that rpm and now getting a little lower, around the 9's. But the odd thing is if I am accelerating slowly it WILL go above 10k. But open throttle and it gets the power loss again. I've taken it to Carter (yay... :surrender) And after a $900 bill the problem persisted. No error codes flashed up, apparently. My air filter was changed, all spark plugs, valve adjustment and all battery connections tightened. I've spoken to some people and they think fuel filter, which is part of the fuel pump. I've purchased one and am waiting for time to put it in.
I am looking for second opinions or suggestions from anyone who has experienced or heard of any similar problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I am rather broke and can't afford to pay someone to rip her apart.
