Can the wheels on the latest sportbikes (YZF-R's, zx-r's, cbr's, gsxr's) interchange?

Like can you put an R6 rim onto a gixxer, and other combos?

I know the r6 and gsxr both have 220 mm discs, so as long as you can get the cush drive, sprocket, carrier and disc, are the basically interchangeable?

What about the axles? Are they usually the same?

Also can you put, say a 5.5 rim into a swingarm made for a 6 rim?

And I know 180/55's fit on a 5.5
Can you put a 190/55 on a 5.5?

It's unlikely that any will be a straight swap, but ultimately fitting is possible if you can get the required spacers, machining and any other mods done. Very recent sportbikes have very large spindles typically, whereas pre about '96 spindles were usually no bigger than about 20mm diameter. Cush drives vary greatly also.

I agree with Mechanic that it probably won't be a straight swap.
My buddy had to work at getting a set of RC51 wheels to fit on his 929, and they are both Hondas... :(
